AS3364 Quad VCA

Description

The Alfa AS3364 quad VCA is a very useful general purpose chip. Unlike the similar AS2164 (with which it shares a pinout) this chip has a linear control response, the same as classic OTAs like the LM13700 or CA3080. It could even be used to convert a 2164 circuit to linear control, if you needed such a thing!

Each VCA has a 100dB dynamic range and accepts attenuation control voltages from 0V (0% signal) to 2V (100% signal).

Supply voltage is ±3V to ±12V (or +15/-5V), so this is a chip that can also be used with stompbox 9V supplies.
