Modulated BBD Delay Simulation

Some notes about this simulation

The main Time x-axis, the Clock Frequency y-axis, and the secondary Delay/Pitch y-axis are all auto-ranging based on the output values. This is why the display seems to jump at certain points – it has rescaled to give you more space.

The Clock Frequency is limited to the range 10-1000KHz. If you push the “Clock Freq”  slider too close to these extremes, the LFO Depth will be reduced to prevent the modulated frequency from going outside the permitted range.

The different clock frequency modulation schemes work as follows:

  • Linear Frequency modulation gives +/-50KHz from the base clock frequency
  • Exponential Frequency modulation gives +/-1 octave from the base clock frequency (so from x0.5 to x2)
  • Linear Period modulation gives +/-20usecs from the base clock frequency
