Description
The MN3207 1024-stage delay line can provide delays between 51.2milliseconds (10KHz clock) and 1 millisecond (500KHz clock) and is commonly used in flanger and chorus effects.
Incidentally, the datasheet claims the clock can only go to 200KHz, but experiments in the Druid lab have shown 500KHz is a more reasonable maximum. This makes the chip capable of a good flanger sound. Above this, the output level of the BBD begins to drop alarmingly.
