Coronavirus Covid-19

Update: 17 April 2020

We’re still here!

International mail is very slow currently. We’re seeing some packages take three or four times the usual amount of time to arrive. However, everything does seem to get through, soon or later. The major part of the problem is that there are almost no international flights to take mail and things seem to be getting very backlogged.

We’ve still got stock and haven’t yet had supply difficulties. If you don’t mind being patient, we can send you whatever you order.

Update: 25 March 2020

Many countries are experiencing considerable delays in their postal systems due to an increased volume of mail and simultaneous short-staffing and changing requirements due to Covid-19. Many countries have withdrawn signed-for services, and tracking information may be sparser than usual and delayed.

The Portuguese post office is now not accepting packages for the following list of countries, so we cannot ship to these countries at present:

  • Bulgaria
  • Cayman Islands
  • Czech Republic
  • Djibouti
  • Easter Island
  • Estonia
  • Equador
  • Falkland Islands
  • French Polynesia
  • Kuwait
  • Libya
  • Lithuania
  • Macau
  • Moldavia
  • Peru
  • Sri Lanka
  • Tunisia

We’ll keep you posted of any further developments.

20 March 2020

Like many people across Europe, we’re being advised to stay at home and avoid any unnecessary travel. Since this precludes us taking parcels to the post office everyday as we ordinarily would, we’ve decided to only ship orders once or twice a week, on occasions when we would have to leave the workshop anyway.
This may cause a few days more delay to you receiving your order. Our sincere apologies, but it’s better than the alternative. For the time being we’re not closing the store, but if the lockdown situation continues to develop, that may become necessary.

Since we’ll probably be spending a long while indoors, we’ll instead use the time to develop some new projects and try and get some of the stuff on the back burner finished off. If coronavirus is going to mean being stuck in the workshop for days on end, it could even turn into quite a productive period!

Please, everyone stay safe and good luck with those long-forgotten projects!

Best wishes from all at Electric Druid
